The Hurt Olympian Deity
36x48 (91x122cm)
Oil on Canvas
God lives in one and in one’s imagination. Our minds are similar to domes of temples. It is imperative to purify the mind. The battle between light and dark (yin yang) has always been from the beginning of time and will continue to be.
The hurt Olympian Deity represents Goddess Anahit (Athena). The dome represents the process of purification, the third eye, and all that is God. To be present and to understand the unfathomable simple beauty of existence.
One may notice the imperfection in the Deity’s body although the Deity’s mind is in Moksha -Premeditated as the imperfection should not be seen in physical form.
The more one studies and understands the more one realizes his ignorance. The Deity has found beauty and is hurt from all that are blinded like zephyr she Is and becomes one with the All.
If one gazes at the painting movement will be seen. The Deity calmly vibrates with the surrounding.
