It is said that our souls are molded on the moon. The soul willingly, in due time, choses a body to embrace. The painting, although, can have various meanings, represents our attachment with the esoteric moon.

Sorcerer’s, witches, and those who master black occult studies are said to be able to cut this string which means cutting the connection between a person’s physical body and the person’s soul which leads to the persons death.
